Animal Care Center, Best Care, and Country Oaks are now offering behavior consultations to our clients and community. We realize how much time it can take to assist our clients in resolving their pet’s behavior issues, so we have set aside time and space to do just that. A behavior consultation takes approximately one to one and a half hours, whether in our office or as a house-call. During a consultation, we will assess the pet’s behavior issues and establish a retraining plan with the owner. Our goal is to correct inappropriate behavior and encourage positive interactions between pets and people. Amanda Miller has been a certified veterinary technician since 1997. She has also done extensive study into dog and cat behavior, training, and problem solving. She has been with Animal Care Center since February of 2003. She has developed this program for our clinics to make sure that our patients’ behavior issues are being handled as conscientiously as their medical care. Amanda can be reached at Animal Care Center for questions and appointments. We encourage our clients to use this new service and let us know how their pets progress.
